We Have MS

MS Support Group for those in the US and Beyond

This Vlog looks at depression in MS. Something that is probably overlooked for a lot of reasons (many of them wrong). I struggled making this one (it took a lot of editing since my brain was moving so slow). I hope that if you are an MS'er dealing with "issues", you will gain the courage to seek the help that is out there waiting for you.

Thanks Jen -- welcome to the community! I'm yet to show a lesion on my brain MRI's -- my neuro always believed my lesions are in the spinal cord as well. MRI's are not the be all and end all of diagnosis. Diagnosing MS can be a drawn out process ... as I have discovered. Oddly, getting a formal diagnosis is always a big relief.

I have had depression since I was 19. I was diagnosed with MS October 10, 2007. The depression got much worse. I was completely devestated with the diagnosis because my Mom had it and died of it. Also they tested me by doing a brain MRI 6 years ago for MS and they said I didn't have it. It turns out most of my lesions are on my spinal cord. Thought I would share. Good video. Jen
